    Car: Ford Fairlane 427 R-Code Coupe

    Year: 1967

    What makes it special: For 1967, minor trim changes were introduced and Ford's Fairlane was mildly facelifted. Two different two-door coupe models were offered. The lower end Fairlane Club Coupe had pillars around the rear windows, while the higher trim level was a pillarless two-door hardtop, similar to the convertible. 427 V8's were still available, either with a single 4-barrel carburetor or dual quad carbs.

Dodge introduced the Coronet R/T in 1967, which stood for “Road and Track.” It was available as a two-door hardtop or convertible. Special "Hood Louvers" came on the R/T models.

    What makes it special: For 1969, AMC produced the Rebel Raider 2-door Hardtops that were sold only in New York and New Jersey, timed specifically to coincide with the New York City Auto Show.     What makes it special: For 1971, Cougar was restyled, weighed less, and had only a one-inch-longer wheelbase than the first gen model. The front end now featured four exposed headlights as the famed "disappearing headlights" were eliminated. The center grille piece was now larger. The rear featured a semi-fastback with a "flying buttress" sail-panel.

    What makes it special: The Dart was restyled for 1970 with front grille and contour changes. In the rear, the Dart’s new rectangular tail lights were set into a wedge-shaped rear bumper design continuing the angled trailing edge of the new deck lid and quarter panels. The "Swinger" name was applied to all Dart two-door hardtops except in the high-line Custom series.
