1995: Peter Grant, manager of Led Zeppelin and widely credited for improving pay and conditions for musicians in dealings with concert promoters died of a heart attack while driving to his home in Eastbourne, U.K. He was 60 years old.

1998: Motley Crue opened their retail store S’crue in Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue. The store would close two months later.


1994: Nirvana entered the Billboard 200 Album Chart at number one with MTV Unplugged in New York which went on to sell five million copies in the U.S.

CT People Pumped Home Heating Oil Into Cars & Other Car Issues In CT

It sucks having car issues, but even worse than when you’re having problems when it’s freezing out.  So, I feel for the people in Somers, CT who had home heating oil accidentally pumped into their tanks. Thankfully, the owner of the Mobil Gas Station at 580 Main Street, Eddie Jamal and his employees caught the mistake made by United Transportation before too many more filled up. Too bad they couldn’t siphon that home heating oil out of the cars and actually use it in their homes…that stuff is crazy expensive. But WHO and WHY made that mistake?I need answers! YAY! Meriden Women Got Her Pup Back!

Finally, a news story with a happy ending!  Early Sunday, Carla Daniels’ home in Meriden was broken into—in the creepiest way ever too. Through her child’s window. The thief made off with a Playstation 3, a lap top, and something priceless. Their super cute 19 week old puppy named Miyah.
